Call the scooter store and they will explain what scooters and indoor wheelchairs are available that are covered by Medicare.

Not all outdoor access devices are covered.

Is battery charger included?

Under Specifications, the charger is listed at 3 amps. It will take about 5-8 hours to fully recharge the batteries.

It is best for longest battery life to recharge the batteries after each day's use. Waiting until the battery is less than 50% full will significantly shorten the battery lifespan.

If you need to climb steep grades, then a heavy duty scooter with braking system (for going back down that grade) might be the best choise.

Call the Scooter Store for detailed information.

Some heavy duty 4 wheel scooters with larger battery packs are rated at 12 degrees of incline. Most are not rated that high.

It would be best to know the needs, and then try to match a scooter to that requirement. Do you have a especially steep incline that you need to ride up?

Without a passenger on it, most scooters and mobility chairs can climb into a car or truck via a ramp. It will climb this without a passenger much easier than a fully loaded scooter can climb a hill.

We recommend only using the batteries as specified by the manufacturer. For this product, it should be 2- 12V deep-cycle (AGM or gel type recommended).
